Four-Legged Family

Paws at four months and one year old

Weekend’s here and so is Paws’ first birthday. Twice on the kill floor, we ignored a-holes who told us Mouse should be a one-dog-dog, continued searching, and thanks to Brooke’s Legacy, eight months ago we brought her home in a same-day event and Mouse, who was getting chunky and lazy and was putting a dent in the mattress is now 3.5 lbs lighter, spry, and she and Paws love charging around the yard and snoozing on the couch after playtime and mowing thru dog toys. If you have a home that could use another four legs? *DON’T* trust the opinion of ‘experts’ (such as the tard who showed up at my house, handed out enough hot dog bits to make Mouse sick by over-treating, but couldn’t clip the leash on correctly when a doggie introduction was made?

Paws and Mouse, side by side

This, after being warned about letting another moron knock on the door. Oh, and the same ‘expert’ (Pffft) who said Mouse should be the only pet in the house? Had no idea we already had a cat…and used to have 2 until Shadow passed.

Yeah… I reserve the term tard for the worst-of-the-non-criminal-worst, and that experience cost them not only a placement, but our support. Go Brooke’s Legacy, LCDAS, ARC or a private, non breeder rescue.

Shelters are open. Fill your home with love, and let the volunteers know they’ve made a difference. Tell ’em Paws sent you. : ) <3
